Memory
Memory is the process of encoding, storing, and retrieving
information of what has been learned or experienced.
Schemas
Schemas are conceptual frameworks a person uses to
make sense of the world.
Recall
Recall is a type of memory retrieval in which a person
reconstructs previously learned material.
Decay
Decay is the process of memory fading away over time.
Heuristic
Heuristics are experimental strategies that allow a person
to solve a problem quickly and easily and sometimes unwisely.
Fallacy
Fallacies occur when an observer assumes that his or her
subjective experience reflects the true nature of an event.
Assumptions
Assumptions are premises or suppositions that something is
factual or true, and the act of taking something for
granted.
Insight
Insights are apparent sudden realizations of the solution to
a problem.
IQ
IQ, also known as intelligence quotient, is a standardized
measure of intelligence based on a scale in which
100 is average.
Standardized Test
Standardized tests provide comparable data about many individuals,
and helps people understand things about themselves more clearly.
